Gallbladder & biliary surgery

- Cholecystectomy removes a diseased or stone-filled gallbladder, often laparoscopic or robotic.
- Biliary bypass creates a new pathway for bile when ducts are blocked.
- Hepaticojejunostomy reconnects the small intestine to the liver to restore bile flow.
- Lithotripsy/EHL breaks up stones in the gallbladder or bile ducts.

Pancreatic surgery

- Pancreas resection removes the affected portion.
- Pancreatectomy removes part or all of the pancreas, sometimes with nearby organs as needed.
- Whipple (pancreaticoduodenectomy) removes the pancreatic head, gallbladder, bile duct, and part of the small intestine, then reconnects the system for digestion.
- Pancreatic drainage procedures relieve blocked or inflamed ducts.
- Puestow procedure connects the pancreatic duct to the small intestine to bypass obstructions.

Not every problem needs major surgery. With these advanced tools, we can diagnose and often treat issues from inside your digestive tract — meaning smaller incisions, faster recovery, and less discomfort:
- ERCP examines ducts, removes stones, places stents, and relieves blockages.
- EUS provides detailed imaging and allows fine-needle biopsy of pancreas, bile ducts, and liver structures.
- Intraductal ultrasound (IDUS) visualizes inside the ducts to detect blockages or tumors.
